So ladies! I'm home from my 2 week blogging break while I traveled the Caribbean but I'm back bronzed and ready to give my readers some new material! But before that , I wanted to share some pictures from my trip with all of you ! It was truly a 2 weeks for the books, so much fun and a lot of laughs.

Style Week Resort Miami : DAY 1

Ciao beauties! I come to you today, half exhausted from day one of Style Week Resort Miami. This is a series of three days with three fashion shows each day & this lucky gal gets to work em' from a PR point. Today was the first day and we had three young and talented designers get to showcase their work. I was crazy backstage overlooking hair & make-up that our client was providing, yet I was lucky enough to be able to see all three shows and I wanted to share a little piece of Style Week with all of you! 

First off, this was my outfit of the day.

And last but not least, let's review each designer's line and show. Two were fabulous, while the other made me cringe. First up was the great Hope McDonald. Her line was full of bold patterns, sequins, floral designs and geometric prints. I absolutely loved every single piece that came on the runway. Totally wearable, super Miami friendly, trendy and on point! 

Next up was Richard Petit's line. Now, I don't want to sound mean or anything, but this show was an overall DISASTER. Don't just take my word for it, ask a few others who went as well. The models looked as if they had taken some kind of sedative beforehand and the designs were just...no. I could see what he was going for, but it didn't come together well. His line had ONE pattern, a pattern you find at Joann Fabrics. Then the material was cheap looking with unnecessary glitter accents & bad tailoring. They reminded me of bad dance recital outfits I once wore. Now, the only two things I semi liked was the finale dress, it had potential to be amazing, but it was okay and the bright orange jumpsuit with a cutout. Overall, I'd say he needs to try again because this line would be sold at Group USA.

And last but certainly not least is Camille Jeanay. I loved like 90% of the line. Most of it was beautiful and sexy with glitter, sequins, lace and polka dots, while some of the pieces that incorporated mirrors weren't my fav. Her dresses and bathing suits were just...WOW and the coverups were no disappointment either. The line had lots of pink and gray tones and every piece was definitely sparkling.

Well my fashion feens, that's all for DAY 1. Day 2 is on it's way and I'll update tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!

REVIEW: L'Oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick !

Hello fashion lovers! I have fallen victim yet again to the beauty isle of a store and bought two more lipsticks to add to my growing collection. This time I was drawn to L'Oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipsticks! They're said to last 10 hours. I picked them up in Fearless Fuchsia & Target Red. 

I had to try them out that very night and I opted for the red. Upon applying I instantly liked how they felt and how much color it gave off. They go on smoothly and feel moisturizing. The staying power turned out to be AMAZING. I ate, drank, talked, ate and drank again and the lipstick was still growing strong! The only thing I noticed was that it felt a little sticky after awhile, but a little chapstick on top and you're good to go. 

Overall, I think they are worth it. You can talk, eat, drink and kiss all night long without worrying about your lipstick getting away.

Summer Trend Report 2012

As we start summer, we leave behind our spring threads and dive head first into the new trends! I bring to you today the Summer Trend Report 2012! No girl dares to be caught in last season threads and although a lot of spring trends stuck around, summer brings us some new and fun fashion styles!

Orange: Orange isn’t going anywhere this summer. We saw it all spring and we’re sure to see it all summer. From shirts to dresses to pants we’ve seen this color everywhere. It’s a perfect color to add to any outfit for a splash of color, but you be careful to not overdue it or you’ll look like you stole someone’s prison jumpsuit.

Neon: I am pleased to say the neon trend is also here to stay. This is one of my personal favorites. You can wear it on your nails, shoes, accessories or clothing! Neon is a fun way to show your personality. Neon bathing suits are a perfect idea for summer or get your hands and feet ready with a neon mani/pedi! 

High Waisted Shorts: Vintage style shorts are super in for summer. From shorts with designs or just plain jean, you can wear them to the beach or out on the town with your favorite Jeffery Campbells. You can make your own pair too! Check out my tutorial on em'

Tiny Tops: Tiny tops are a go for this upcoming season. From neon crop tops to bustier style short tops, these are everywhere. You can pair them with a skirt, either long or short or with a pair of those high waisted shorts. 

Florals: Also seen in spring, florals are sticking around. Large, loud flower patterns are all the rage.  Pair some floral shorts with a cute orange button down and your right on trend and super cute! I personally love the floral pants and blazers coming out. Floral pants with a plain crop top and some banging heels and you got yourself a perfect night out outfit. 

Mixing Prints: Step outside your comfort zone with this summer trend. Grab those cheetah flats and pair em’ with your new floral shorts or blazer. Mixing prints is a bit risky, but such a fun way to play with your closet. How about some lace with tribal prints? Or galaxy patterns with animal print? Just make sure the colors all compliment each other and none of the patterns are too bold and all of you can pull this off without any extra effort. 

Pastels: Soft, pastel colors are all over the stores this season! From gorgeous mint green maxis to soft pink skinnys, this is a must have for all the fashionistas. The pastel maxi skirts and skinnys are my personal fav! They are so cute and classy. A pastel bag is also a great way to incorporate the trend.
