OPI Fall Collection 12'

As we settle into Fall, the time has come to give up our neon and pastel nails for richer, darker colors. OPI has partnered up with the James Bond franchise to being us nail polish feens some fabulous new polishes and even an 18k gold tip coat. Yes ladies, gold for your nails.

First off is the Skyfall 007 Collection featuring 12 new polishes ranging from glitters to deep purples. I am absolutely obsessed with these colors. Especially "The Living Daylights", I just need that multi glitter polish on my fingers like yesterday.

I have to say my favorites are: Tomorrow Never Dies, The Living Daylights, Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me and The World Is Not Enough.

You can find these polishes at any nail supply store for $8.50 a bottle or try eBay/Amazon to score these babies for a great deal.

Next up we have the super awesome Magnetic Holiday Lacquers to celebrate the 50th anniversary of James Bond. Each one these come with its own unique magnetizer to create striped, diamond or wavy patterns.

Bond...James Bond is a gold shimmer that makes a diamond magnet
Is That Silva? is a metallic silver shimmer that leaves a striped magnetic behind
Morning, MoneyPenny is a rich burgundy which leaves lovely waves.

And lastly we have the ever so fabulous 18K Gold Top Coat 'The Man With The Golden Gun'! Now even though the price is a little much, $30, I cannot pass up the opportunity to have gold flecks all over my fall manis and then brag about it. Call me superficial, whatever, every girl loves gold and this girl likes it on her nails. You can score this little bottle on eBay or Amazon as well for a good price, you just have to search.

Overall I love the new James Bond partnership and all the new polished. Would I buy every single one? No. A few? Hell yes. What do you think of the new polishes?

StyleBook : A Dream Come True

Who remembers Clueless and that fabulous closet Cher had? Remember that little app on her computer that she flipped through to pick out her outfits? Well it's 2012 and our little magical device is finally here and available on our iPhones! The answer to our prayers is called StyleBook

StyleBook is an app that allows fashionistas everywhere to organize your wardrobe. It also allows your to compare new purchases to pieces already in your closet, plan outfits, mix and match and even save style inspiration.

There's tons of awesome features including the Packing List where you can make outfits then import them into the packing list to use for reference later when you're throwing items into your suitcase. There's also the size tracker to track your sizes in everything possible and calendar that let's you see when you've worn certain outfits.

This app is a huge life saver for me and I've been like a crazy woman taking pictures of my closet to keep track of all my clothes.

Will you be getting Style Book?

Fashion's Night Out

One of my favorite nights in fashion has come and gone and it is none other then FASHION'S NIGHT OUT! The one night a year where the everyone dresses head to toe in their most fashionable looks and goes out for a night of drinking, fashion and shopping!

My girls and I got dolled up and headed out to two events in Miami.

Dress: Rehab Clothing, Shoes (not shown): Steve Madden, Clutch: Vintage

First we stopped at Merrick Park. The rain had scared away most of the guests, but a good amount of people remained. We saw a fashion show by Nordstrom with local designers being showcased and after headed to Neiman Marcus for the Ocean Drive party. Inside we found another fashion show being held along with a mani bar and braid bar where you could get your nails and hair done. They were also offering makeup touch ups along with some sweet treats and Grey Goose cocktails. Ocean Drive also had a photo booth which is always fun.

After some time there, we left and headed over to Lincoln Rd Mall on Miami Beach. Brilliance NY was having a in store event where you could get your hair and makeup down. You could also enjoy a fashion presentation by Mittmi by Danitzi. There was also so great deals going on.

Overall FNO was fun, except this year the rain scared away the usual guests. I had a great time and can't wait for next year.

What did you do for FNO?

For the Love of Art

As my summer came to a close, I tried to make the most of my last week of summer with a trip to a local waterpark and a trip to Zoo Miami to feed some friendly rhinos and giraffes.

Yet, if there's one thing I did that I absolutely loved, it was deff. taking an adventurous ride through the city with my best friend Syrel to view some of my favorite street art located in the Wynwood District of Miami.

Wynwood has some of the most beautiful and intriguing street art in the city. Every block is filled with walls of color and stories being told by local artists. Some of my favorite are the Boombox wall and this 3 block wall that tells a comic book story. Luckily, the day we went on this spontaneous adventure I totally looked the artsy street lover part sporting my leggings, cut out jean button down with lace back detail, red spiked loafers and my crazy wavy hair with red stained lips and earrings bigger then my head.

Button Down : Forever 21, Leggings : Express, Earrings: Electric Boutique, Shoes: Shoe LA

For all my readers who live in Miami, DO NOT miss the art walks in the district every first Saturday of the month. They are so worth it.

Renting the Runway

How many of you drool over designer dresses and accessories and wish you could magically increase your spending budget? If I had to guess, all of you raised your hands. Well I come to you today with a place to get the designer fix you need.

It's called Rent The Runway. A fab website where you can rent designer clothing and accessories for up to 90% off!

They have outfits for every occasion from a wedding or date to a girls' night out  and over 95 designers ranging from Herve Leger to Oscar de la Renta

I personally love the idea of renting for sorority recruitment or a wedding, events that before buying a $500 dress you're never gonna wear again, you can rent an even better dress for $100.

Memberships are free and they're always offering discounts.

You pick your delivery time and you can keep the dress for 4 to 8 days and you get to order a backup size as well just in case the first one doesn't fit. They guarantee delivery by the event date and then all you do is stick it in the prepaid box & ship it back. It's so simple and totally worth it.

Would you rent the runway?
