Style Week Resort Miami : DAY 3!

Well Style Week Resort Miami has finally come to a close and I bring you the final recap of the last three shows! This day proved to be the best of the three. With the last show bringing a new twist to the ol' runway show technique and not to mention we got a nice swag bag to take home.

So as always, my outfit for the last night!

Sheer Floral Pants : Forever 21. Top : Forever 21. Bag : Micheal Kohrs. Studded Heels : Wild @ Bakers.

And now let's get started with the first show of the night. This was the line of Project Runway contestant Janeane Marie. I had high hopes for this line, but it only made me yawn with boredom. The color choice was boring and bland with only black, white, beige and ONE teal piece. Her pieces proved to be just as boring as the colors. With flowy shorts and skirts, a weird peplum piece and lots of short tops it was something that's been done before and nothing orignal. The line also consisted of only 8 pieces. The only thing I liked about this line was an outfit that consisted of some gold flowy shorts.

Up next, we had Jonathan Joseph Peter's line who was also a contestant on Project Runway. The whole line consisted on teals, oranges, white and yellow. There was tons of lace and the jewelry was gorgeous! The only thing I didn't like was the weird flower print and the outfit choices for men looked like something you'd see the trapeze people wearing at Circus Soleil. There was also this skirt that reminded me of my grandma's drapes, but the top and jewelry on the outfit were on point. Overall an okay line, very few pieces as well.

Last but not least, we had Alessandra Gold's line. I expected crazy and tacky outfits from what I'd been hearing, but let me say that her show blowed me away. It was fun, upbeat with bright, bold pieces. Not to mention her runway show came with a surprise dance routine which was beyond words. Her line is dedicated to the urban street warriors and it included neons, fringe, tribal patterns and metallics. Her show line was to die for. Alessandra isn't your typical fashion line, but it's different and her vision translated into her show.

Well that's all for this Style Week. I'm relaxing as much as possible because in 2 short days I begin none other then Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013 and it's a crazy, tiring week! Stay tuned for recaps of all the shows and parties. Until next time my fashion disciples!

Style Week Resort Miami: DAY 2!

Buonasera mi amores! I'm back with day 2 of Style Week Resort Miami and as Day 2 came to a close, I was as tired as ever but I could truly say I really enjoyed all three shows. Each designer was on point with their trends and the colors we saw we're just gorgeous. Oh!, & this time I was able to sit front row at the shows so the pics are 100% better!

Now, like last time, first things first. My outfit for Day 2 of Style Week Resort Miami

Earrings: Electric Boutique. Dress: Saks Fifth Ave . Wedges: TJ Maxx. Bag: Micheal Kors. Jewelry: By Me <3

And once again here is my lovely team and I !

Some backstage madness & fooling around!

And now.....drumroll please! The reviews! First off we had designer Amanda Perna with her 2013 line. This girl put all the right colors in her collection. The colors were absolutely beautiful. Each piece of clothing had such motion to it and I loved that about it. There was tons of sheer add ons and color/print blocking. Her prints were just adorable and the pleats she used took me back to the 20s. Overall her whole line was spot on with the trends and something I would love to add to my closet. Thumbs up for Amanda!

Up next we had Tess Johnson's line. Now as much as I loved the line for the most part, it was a very hit or miss show. Either I loved the piece or I hated it. Not to mention that it had about 9 pieces in total, not enough to get a feel for her design technique. The paisley print I was obsessed with, as well as some of the colors she used, but the rhinestones had to go. Overall some cute pieces I'd wear, like this amazing sheer dress I could see myself rocking on a yacht sipping champagne.

And lastly we have Jessica Abernelhy's line! I loved her line! Again very few pieces like the previous line, so not a lot to look at but what I did see gave me a 1950s feel. Lots of polka dots and mid drift tops. It had a total resort feel. The colors were bright and fun and the prints were gorgeous. A great line just needs more pieces!

Well loves, that's all for Day 2! I'm off to the last and final day of Style Week Resort Miami! Which designers' line was your favorite this time?

Style Week Resort Miami : DAY 1

Ciao beauties! I come to you today, half exhausted from day one of Style Week Resort Miami. This is a series of three days with three fashion shows each day & this lucky gal gets to work em' from a PR point. Today was the first day and we had three young and talented designers get to showcase their work. I was crazy backstage overlooking hair & make-up that our client was providing, yet I was lucky enough to be able to see all three shows and I wanted to share a little piece of Style Week with all of you!

First off, this was my outfit of the day.

Cheetah Shorts : Target. Sheer Blouse : Boutique. Bag : Micheal Kors. Necklace : Forever 21. Shoes (not shown) Jeffery Campbell's; Nordstrom.

Now this is my beautiful team of ladies who work just as hard as I do

A little glimpse backstage!

And last but not least, let's review each designer's line and show. Two were fabulous, while the other made me cringe. First up was the great Hope McDonald. Her line was full of bold patterns, sequins, floral designs and geometric prints. I absolutely loved every single piece that came on the runway. Totally wearable, super Miami friendly, trendy and on point!

Next up was Richard Petit's line. Now, I don't want to sound mean or anything, but this show was an overall DISASTER. Don't just take my word for it, ask a few others who went as well. The models looked as if they had taken some kind of sedative beforehand and the designs were just...no. I could see what he was going for, but it didn't come together well. His line had ONE pattern, a pattern you find at Joann Fabrics. Then the material was cheap looking with unnecessary glitter accents & bad tailoring. They reminded me of bad dance recital outfits I once wore. Now, the only two things I semi liked was the finale dress, it had potential to be amazing, but it was okay and the bright orange jumpsuit with a cutout. Overall, I'd say he needs to try again because this line would be sold at Group USA.

And last but certainly not least is Camille Jeanay. I loved like 90% of the line. Most of it was beautiful and sexy with glitter, sequins, lace and polka dots, while some of the pieces that incorporated mirrors weren't my fav. Her dresses and bathing suits were just...WOW and the coverups were no disappointment either. The line had lots of pink and gray tones and every piece was definitely sparkling.

Well my fashion feens, that's all for DAY 1. Day 2 is on it's way and I'll update tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!
